There are rumours now about Besiktas being interested in taking Nicolas Jackson on loan, and honestly… I wouldn’t be against it under the right conditions. If there’s an option to buy included, even better. I still think Jackson has qualities, but right now we need more consistency in front of goal. The key thing though is that somebody HAS to come in first. Because going into the season with João Pedro and another proper striker rotating actually sounds fine to me. And before people mention Delap again — sorry, but I’m not counting on him at all right now. I’m not even sure Xabi Alonso could revive him immediately 😅 Jackson probably needs a reset somewhere with less pressure and more confidence. Turkey could honestly suit him pretty well.

Happy to see us finally targeting positions we actually need straight out of the gate this summer. We are seriously interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba and a meeting with his camp is reportedly on the cards. Let’s be honest, we've needed to sort out our centre-back situation for ages now. While Tapsoba might not be the single most elite, absolute world-class name on everyone's dream list, he is a seriously solid, proven defender who knows how to play out from the back. What makes this even better is that this has Xabi Alonso’s fingerprints all over it. Having worked with Tapsoba at Leverkusen, Alonso clearly knows exactly how to fit him into his system, and seeing the board back the new gaffer's vision immediately is exactly what we need. I’m genuinely optimistic about this approach — buying specific quality to fit the manager's tactical blueprint rather than just hoarding random talent.

Speaking of Rabbaj, he's already on Barcelona's radar now, even though Barça's academy is literally stacked with players of his profile. I still dream that at least Ibrahim stays at Chelsea and fulfills his potential here, but with our board's current vision and the obsession with "pure profit" from academy sales, that's highly unlikely to happen. They'll probably just cash in on him too...

Just seen a random rumour about Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh being tracked by a few top clubs, including us. Another young defender, another “future project” it seems 😄 Feels like the usual Chelsea move these days — sign young, develop, and maybe sell later for profit. Not even sure if he’d come straight into the squad or just be another long-term investment.
