Personally, i thought the ball struck Ferdinand's shoulder. Also, i agree Scholes should have went...we're whining about Bennett's performance today but he also denied United a blatant penalty when Bramble made a ludicrous tackle on Scholes which was a stonewall spot-kick. I know Scholes shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place, but it's funny how no-one on here has mentioned the challenge on Scholes from Bramble which was a definite penalty. It pains me to say it but can we please stop the whining. The table doesn't lie. United have won the League by two points and these decisions even themselves out over the course of the season, United have scored 80 goals and let in the least, they deserve to be Champions, end of. United's winger has scored 41 goals this year and their football this year has been excellent. We've done well to go close but credit where it's due.

Mate seriously, there's an element of sour grapes in how you're talking there. Ferguson has given us credit before when we've won the title, you know that as well as i do. How do you expect United fans and players to react? They're entitled to celebrate, just as we've done when we've won it before.
