  1. I am devastated by that performance. Where has the passion and pride gone? It was so embarrassing today,we are in a lot of trouble here and I am beginning to think that we may not even qualify for the CL this season. The whole set up is clearly wrong, the players do not trust the manager and if there was any doubt about that before, today confirms it. Our organisation is really poor especially at set pieces which is unheard of for us and just shows how far we have fallen. Jose must have been wondering what the hell has happened in the past year, all his hard work and attention to detail completely undone by Phil and his cronies. Even Avram had them pulling in the same direction,or was it Clarke? Boy we miss him badly. The whole thing is a disaster. I would be happy to see the back of all of them including Wilkins. Nothing good is going to come out of this sorry bunch.

  3. I am completely underwhelmed by Phil Scolari and the rest of the backroom staff. Something is very wrong at our football club and all arrows point to the mgr and his backroom staff. Where is our organisation, tactics and discipline gone, you could see yesterday yet again that we did not have the shape and commitment that we have been used to over the last few years. It looks as though either the players do not want to play for the manager or do not understand what he wants from them.Either way it is a disaster unravelling before our eyes. It was widely reported in the Summer that JT and Frank Lampard had to speak with the manager regarding the lack of intensive training that the team were doing. Then we have had the rumblings from players over the last few months about mgt favourites within the group (Deco?) Last weeek we hear from Phil that they had a clear the air meeting. The result of that was yesterdays shambles,so clearly that meeting went well!! So well in fact that Joe Cole nearly ripped his shirt off as he was subbed yesterday and did not shake the mgrs hand (hard to do I know when he ignores you) It may be the mgr is finding his feet at the domestic level of football here in England and will have to be given time. I just get the sense that there are problems between everyone and this does not bode well for us at all. I also think that employing Wilkins was a massive blunder as what we have is a group of nice guys with no positive track record at this level and looking well out of their depth. My view is that we will win nothing this season and it will all become a little embarrasing. It pains nme to say it but the feeling is there. I used to joke with my mates that I all I ever wanted was an FA Cup final day at Wembley again after the horror of 1994. I did not expect 2 titles and a CL final in my lifetime, and I found it hard to cope with the pressure of having to win every game. I harked back to the mid table mediocrity of my youth. Maybe Phil and the staff are feeling the same.
