Sometimes "ageing" doesn't mean that you can no longer perform, it could be that the hunger has gone, the hunger that young blood would still have. I'm not saying "past it", I'm saying that to me too many players don't look like they have the desire. Let's take last season for example, sh*t manager and yet those players (yes as you correctly put it the same players) still run the Manc's close and lets face it should have won the champions league, if they could get motivated for Grant then why not Scolari? For me we need a shake up, give Scolari time and see what happens in the summer. If we're still in the same position this time next season then I would totally agree with the general opinion.

Some people might think I need my head testing but I'm 100% behing big Phil. I think he inherited an aging squad with players who clearly are not fit to pull on the blue shirt. Could he really have been expected to come in in the summer and immediately get rid of Drogba and Ballack, he would have been slaughtered!! Give him time, this summer he must change the personnel, more youth, more attacking flair and Mancienne 3rd choise behind Terry and Carvalho!!

Is Robbie D ready yet?, would love to see him at the club one day but I think he needs at least one more season cutting his teath at the lower leagues, having said that i'd love to be proved wrong!! Why is it so many us want to see some quality young talent (England potential would be nice) however the powers at Chelsea seem to think otherwise!! Mancienne vs Alex, no contest in my opinion, Mancienne every time!! Scott Sinclair, is he good enough? how will we ever know if he isn't given a chance, i'm not sure myself but would like to see him given a go!!
