Season Review Questions
Hi guys, This really is the last one for awhile now! You will probably know the drill by this point, sorry that you seem to have been hit the most. Basically i'm doing a season review for every single club in the league, 4 sections (Top 4, European contenders, mid table and relegation battleres), you can have a look t the european contenders section if you like:- http://www.toffeetalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17469 Anyway, if anyone could answer some of these it would be a big help. This is the last for a good while though, so sorry again for the many question requests i've hit you all with recently! 1- What would your assement of your season be in comparison with your pre-season hopes and expectations? 2- What would your season highlight be? 3- What would your season lowlight be? 4- How do you feel Ancelotti will do next season? 5-Who do you need to bring in during the summer and who would you like to see leave the club? 6- What should your aim for next season be? Thanks again guys, good luck over the summer.

Couldn't agree more. The atmosphere at the final was a fraction of what it was like at the semi. But thats the FA for you. Taking the fun out of football.

Its a shame really. It really gets to me that so many "plastics" get to go to a showpiece such as Wembley where long-standing surporters miss out. Its the price you must pay I guess. In fairness there was a few Everton fans who have jumped on the bandwagon. I spoke with one on the train over who couldn't name who scored our winner against United in 95. I mean come on.

I'm just commenting on what I saw after the game, and I feel that I siad it in a calm manner. Unlike some other Evertonians who resort to name calling and expletives. I obviously can't comment for the majority. i'm just commenting on those I saw after the game. I'm not trying to rile anyone up here, it was just a comment on what I witnessed. its not supposed to be a wide comment that represents my view of Chelsea fans as a whole. Just those after that particular game.

Oh, and when i say "after the game" I do mean outside the stadium, not during the trophy ceramony or when the final whistle had been blown. My views are refering to the fans I encountered outside the ground and on my way home.

I did say that. Yup. I was disapointed with the Chelsea fans. I stand by what I said in that final statement. But in fairness that statement is not really extreme in any way shape or form. The Chelsea fans at the end of the game where very quite and very sullen. I was just a little bit surprised as I would have expected more jubilation. Sayin that though the fans I came across on the train home where all very young and where travelling to places like Birmingham so could well be "plastic" fans who have only just really jumped on board recently. I can't comment for all the fans just the ones I came across. I still stand by what I said. Chelsea deserved to win and I make no bones about that. I was also dispointed with the Chelsea fans that I saw after you won. Nothing too controversial there really is there?

That comment about Lampard is a disgrace and far from anything that I believe. Completly shocking. 99.99% of Everton fans would not think that. You get stupid idiots at every club though that will say ridiculous comments like that just to try and get a reaction. Lampard is a quality player, no way anyone should be saying those things. To be honest I would think that the main and only reason that whoever said that said that is simple. Jealousy. Every club would love to have someone such as Lamps in there team. They would be lying if they said otherwise,

Posted this elsewhere but thought id add it here as well. Congrats. The better team won on the day. I'm just glad that we where not embarresed, and we are now in the history books so I guess thats something. So congrats, i've always had a real soft spot for Chelsea after the days of Zola and Vialli. Top class. All the best for the summer, it will be good to see you mounting a real challenge next year for the title and shut those red sh*te bar stewards across the park up once and for all. Also, would anyone be willing to chip in for a fund for Hibbert? He needs surgery after the final because Maluoda ripped him a new arsehole.

Pre-Final Interview Questions
Thanks for the responses guys. I'd say good luck for the final but I have a feeling we'll luck more than you. I'm just hoping for a good game, and more than that, a good referee!! If such a thing graces the good game. As much as i'd love to win the cup I wouldn't want it unfairly and in a manner in which the CL Final place was so cruelly snatched from you. All the best, lets hope football wins out. Come on the blue boys!!!

Pre-Final Interview Questions
I completly agree with you there. I went to our semi, atmosphere was amazing. Having the 50/50 split was fantastic. The final however is just going to have a bunch of suited bar stewards complaining about trvial bullsh*t. God a hate the FA... and Uefa... most footballing governing bodies to be honest. The way real fans get treated in this country is beyond a joke.

Pre-Final Interview Questions
Hi Guys, It's Jamie again. I was on here a few weeks ago for the Everton game at the Bridge running a pre-match intervew. Well i'm doing a similar thing for the final and if any of you could answer a couple of these questions for me it would be greatly appreciated. 1- Chelsea have had a fairly easy route to the final this year. What has your assesment of your Cup campaign been this year? 2- Does the FA Cup still hold as much significance to you or has it been cheapend slightly wit you search for European success taking more importance? 3- Di Matteo's 43 second cracker in '97, the first Cup success against Dirty Leeds in '70, winning the first final at the new Wembley in '07. A few fond memories of the cup, but what is your favourite FA Cup memory? 4- What has been the best FA Cup final you have ever watched as a neutral been? 5- The FA's ticket allocation system has come under heavy criticism. How has your experience of purchasing tickets for the final been this year? 6- Everton will be going into the final with the spine of the team augmented (Jags, Arteta and Yak) How do you feel you would cope in a similar situation (Terry, Lampard and Drogba all injured)? 7- Predictions for the final? Thanks again guys, any responses will be greatly appreciated.

The Wire
It gets better and better. Once you are accustomed to the characters and the language it eventaully just clicks. The sereis really picks up in the latter third, but the real improvement starts when the sereis progress. Series 2 is very very strong. It's also quite funny becasue Stringer Bell, one of the heads of the Barksdale crew, is actually from Hackney. He's a Chelsea fan as well if I remember rightyl. McNulty is from Sheffield as well.

Pre-Game interview question's about Everton Game
Hi Guys, My name is jamie and I help run an Everton forum called ToffeeTalk.com. We run interviews with opposition fans prior to each game. If any of you could take a few minutes to answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated. 1) Is the Premier League still attainable, and what for you would represent a succesful season at this stage of the year? 2) You struggled for consistancy after a strong start to the campaign. Is Scolari solely to blame? 3) Hiddink has been a clear success in his short time at the club. Which would you prefer, Hiddink to stay but no trophies, or to simply win a trophy and wave goodbye to Hiddink? 4) Who do you feel is the man most apt to fill the managerial role? 5) Jose has been linked by the press to the Manchester United job when SAF finally packs it in, he was also briefly mentioned for the Liverpool job. What would your feelings be if he ever took these jobs? 6) What are your views on Everton's season? 7) What are your predictions for the game, and what are your predictions for the final? Thanks very much guys. Good luck for tomorrow (Though i very much doubt you'll need it) and we'll see you at Wembley! Come on You Blue Boys
