New manager
At least no-one can accuse us of not giving youth a chance next season

Neymar
Seems to be very few legit or reliable sources in all this. He is playing in the copa libatedores 1st leg final this week with the 2nd leg on 22nd June. It's highly unlikely Santos will do or say anything before that is all played out and it's inconceivable that he would sit down with any interested parties until it's finished. Until then - agent/media nonsense.

Lukaku Signed
Yes my 'lightweight' comment was a little joke. It was sarcasm. It was a couple of posts after the picture of lukaku looking effing humongous. I thought it was obvious. In fact it was obvious. Anyway, I'll keep it straight - I think he would be a good signing, for the future.

Lukaku Signed
He looks a bit lightweight. Could do with bulking up a bit.

Worst. Thread. Ever. Anyway it was Cech's fault for not taking command of his 6 yard box.

Stoch to Galatasary for 2.5 mil
He's gone. signed by Galatasary for an undisclosed fee. Shocking decision and goes against everything that the clubs has been saying about developing our youth players. It says in the skysports report He joined as a 16-year-old back in 2006, penning professional terms a year later. He was the youth team's top scorer in 2006/07 and was an ever present the following season as Chelsea reached the FA Youth Cup final. He's since gone on to help a serious underdog win the dutch league. And 'undisclosed fee' doesn't suggest a whole lot of money. Certainly not what we'd have to pay if we wanted to sign a similar player. what the hell chance do the kids have to do to be given a chance?

Gonzalo Higuain
they would sell him because he was a 'star' signing by the previous owner. the new owner bought ronaldo Higuain is currently outscoring ronaldo and the new owner doesn't like his show pony being upstaged. its obviously a very very petty atitude. its also the truth. Higuain will very likely be moved on. I think he's a cracking young player and there's always the fear of missing out on someone who develops and adapts like torres did. he's an out and out striker really though and not sure where he would fit in with a fit drogba. probably the right siging but the wrong time. in a couple of years when its likely the pace and physical aspect of the game start chipping away at drogbas game he would be fantastic. obviously is not possible to spend 35 mil to keep a player in cotton wool till then though. i've got my fingers crossed we get aguero and a CB this season. anything else can be covered by the kids that have been involved on the fringes this season. i'd quite like to see mancienne back this year playing the makelele role or as back up to mikel. when needed i'm of the school of thought that mikel actually has enough in his game to move forward and play alongside lampard or essien when required. and also mancienne can cover rightback if its a problem again, rather than ferreira. if we are going to have someone who is 'ok, can do a job, occasional mistake' i'd much rather it was young talent developing rather than an old pro going through the motions
