On the coach from Napa , I was with my dad I had the Chelsea flag near the back (not the giant one across the rear window) Heineken was ice cold but 2.50 for a small can !!

Good day/night out (shame about the game) thanks to everyone who made it memorable. Never thought that I would be so popular with the locals , so many wanted a photo of my flag ! Not all were friendly though , I nearly caught one of the bottles at the end. Shame about the crocodile as well.

We arrive Sunday but my mate is already there , he phoned today to say that there are flyers around Ayia napa advertising a bus to the game for 20 euro return which is a bargain. I have been told there is an irish bar in Nicosia called Finnbars which usually gets taken over by Brits

angus, can agree about Madrid being a great city. Been 3 times , twice to Real and once to Athletico , from an outsiders perspective i found Real full of tourists (like us) and Athletico a bit more earthy and enjoyable. It was like Manure and Citeh , the locals seemed to be Athletico fans. Had a few beers post match and got a good welcome and free tapas with my pint (pork stew). Also walked across the bridge for a few beers. It was a few years ago and I paid 12 euro to watch you beat Numancia 2-0 Torres did nothing all game then scored in the last 5 minutes to take the headlines. Reckon the Chelsea hordes might congregate near playa major (irish bar) as there is plenty to do around there (and a subway Mc D and KFC essential pit stops)

I am in Cyprus for a wedding can any of the previous cypriot posters tell me how to get to nicosia from napa also where are the away fans likely to congregate before the match for a few beers in the sun .

In Cyprus for a wedding tues 29th and got 2 tickets for the game on the wed. Staying in Ayia Napa anyone else making this journey. How you getting from napa to nicosia (I can only see 1 bus and thats 0800 :o ) Where is everyone drinking/meeting pre match.
