angus, can agree about Madrid being a great city. Been 3 times , twice to Real and once to Athletico , from an outsiders perspective i found Real full of tourists (like us) and Athletico a bit more earthy and enjoyable. It was like Manure and Citeh , the locals seemed to be Athletico fans.
Had a few beers post match and got a good welcome and free tapas with my pint (pork stew). Also walked across the bridge for a few beers. It was a few years ago and I paid 12 euro to watch you beat Numancia 2-0 Torres did nothing all game then scored in the last 5 minutes to take the headlines.
Reckon the Chelsea hordes might congregate near playa major (irish bar) as there is plenty to do around there (and a subway Mc D and KFC essential pit stops)
