Carlo to get the sack?
Just heard that it is not true. Apparently there is some kind of 'revelation', whatever that is, but he has not left/been sacked. This came from a group called blueschronicles on twitter. Don't know how reliable this is. Message to Mods, sorry for duplicating earlier thread!

Ancelotti rumour?
Rumours flying around that Carlo has resigned. Anyone know anything? Is it bull?

Training Ground
Cheers bjd, I had a feeling it might be a bit like that, I might give it a miss. I did think of giving JT a brown envelope Valerie but I didn't think he'd be impressed with a score!

Training Ground
I was thinking of taking the boy to the training ground during the holidays. I just wanted to ask any of you that know; is there access to the players for photos etc or is it pretty closed doors? Dont want to waste my time going if theres no chance of the boy meeting a few players. :o

The formation isn't right, and we're losing because of it.
Where have you been for so long laxman? You're obviously the tactical genius we've all been praying for for so long! You'd be a good man manager aswel, slagging people off who dare to have an opinion thats different to yours. To cap it all, you think one of the highest rated players in the world is sh*t!! How have you been overlooked as a football manager? Look no further Chelsea fans, lets get a petition to Roman to get Ancelotti out (or Angelotti if you're laxman) and get this amazingly gifted man in to win trebles for us for the next decade! :P

What's wrong with Anelka?
brainman, your first sentence says it all. Anelka is'nt playing as a striker. He needs to be up top with Drogs or on the bench. When he's out of position he can't be bothered. I was surprised to see you say he does'nt give the ball away as I think he does it often when not up front. Against Inter he was a liablity. He continually ran into a group of players, gave the ball away and never bothered to try and get it back, seeming to spend the game sulking. As for Joey, he's been out injured for quite a bit of the season to be fair and needs a bit of a run in the side to maybe help get his s**t together. I'd like to see him out wide personally.

Peter Osgood
I'm too young to have seen the great man play but have seen him on my dads videos. He was brilliant and was my dads favourite. We even had a blue budgie called Ossie! Dixon was my hero growing up, hence my username being a mix of the two Chelsea greats.

The formation isn't right, and we're losing because of it.
Personally I prefer us to play 442 with wide players. I'd like to see (when everyone is fit) Lamps and Essien in the middle, Malouda and Joe wide and Drogs up front with Anelka. If Anelka does'nt play up front then he may as well be on the bench, because if he has to play out of position he becomes disinterested. In Milan during the week he was shocking. He constantly gave the ball away and showed no desire to get it back. He strolled around the pitch sulking and should have been replaced in my opinion. Unfortunately, injuries are costing us dear and there are players in the squad who we need to start looking at as to whether we need them any more. For me, Deco and Ballack have not done enough in our colours and Mikel is'nt one of my favourites either as he seems to constantly give away possesion and give away needless free kicks. It's a shame Petr has picked up an injury at a time when he was getting back to top form. Hilario looked like a frightened kid in goal on saturday. It's easy to point the finger at the whole JT thing and I do think it had an effect on some of our side on saturday, but theres no getting away from the fact that we just made sloppy mistakes. Ballack doing what he did was just stupid. Lets hope Cech and Essien are back soon or the season is gonna go tits up!

No need to teach old Drog new tricks
I think Drogs is a brilliant striker and would'nt swap him for any other striker. I have to say though that it really gets on my nipple ends when he keeps going to ground like he's been shot. He's not doing himself any favours, his reputation is getting worse and he's not gonna get free kicks when he does deserve to. I remember when the fans turned on him before for doing it and JT had to have a word with him. He managed to cut it out for a while and his performances were even better. Looked as if JT had another word during the Liverpool match; I hope so because theres no need for him to do it. He's an awesome striker and would be even more valuable to the team if he stayed on his feet. When JT goes down, we all know he's hurt; when Drogs goes down we're all thinking just get up and get on with it.
