  1. Just asking if anyone remembers the London Evening Standard (classified results) and London Evening News & star (classified results) newspapers which appeared after the matches, usually at train stations around 17:00 - 17:30 pm. Most had full first half report while the second half of the match was limited too a few lines as the newspaper was quickly sent too be printed. I just wondered if anyone has any of the above newspapers (from period 1964 - 1975) and if they would like too sell a photocopy of the newspaper (front and back pages only). I will gladly pay a very good price for the copy. The evening standard was (A4 size) while the Evening News and Star was (I think A2 size). If so please contact me. Thankyou
  2. Hi. These 2 sites maybe of interest too Older Chelsea fans www.rexfeatures.com. Lots of pictures of Chelsea through the 60's and 70's. Many unseen I think. Just type in search: Chelsea 1966 for example. You can also type in a players name ie: Peter Osgood and you get some good pics. www.Aparchive.com Some old newsreel clips. Similar to ITNSOURCE.COM. Type in: UK Chelsea, and you should get some of the clips. On page 4 under SYND 5-1-72 Chelsea v Derby County Football Match, are the goals from the league Cup Semi final 2nd Leg at Tottenham Hotspur when Alan Hudson got the late equaliser. Hope this is useful to all.
  3. More about Tommy Baldwin - from daily express. sorry about the quality.
  4. Thankyou again. More great pictures. Keep them coming if you have any more please. Great memories
  5. Thanks so much for the pictures. Many I have never seen before in publications. If you have any more form the sixties and seventies then please add.
  6. Does anyone know what local newspapers were published during the 1960s and 1970s which covered Chelsea games? I think one of them was the West London Observer!. I collect Match Reports so I am seeking anything that may be available (photocopies will do fine). Thanks
  7. Thanks again for the games, especially Ossies hat-trick v Sunderland. Any chance too see F A Cup matches fromn 1969-70 season. Chelsea v Birmingham city and Crystal Palace away?
  8. Thankyou all for the information. I would still be interested in goal highlights of ITV games if available from seasons 68-69 and 69-70 seasons. Thanks again.
  9. Thanks again for so many games too watch. Do you have any short higlights from season 1969-70? Wolves at home when ossie scored a great goal.
  10. Pictures of some Bobby Tambling goals. Sorry about quality but taken from newspapers/mags etc.
  11. AGAIN THANKS FOR THE GAME(S). DO YOU HAVE ANY HIGHLIGHTS FROM 69-70 SUNDERLAND WHEN OSSIE SCORED A HAT-TRICK AND 70-71 BRUGES AT HOME AHEN OSSIE RETURNED. ALSO 1975-76 WEST BROMICH ALBION HOME WE LOST 2-1 BUT I REMEMBER MEETING IAN BRITTON OFF THE TUBE THAT DAY AND THEN HE SCORED OUR GOAL WITH A HEADER. NICE BLOKE.
  12. YOU ARE RIGHT BOBBY TAMBLING IS A TRUE LEGEND. ITS JUST THAT HE IS NOT MENTIONED ENOUGH WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT CHELSEA GREATS. TOO MY MIND HE IS ABOVE DIXON AND DROGBA AS THE TOP STRIKER. IF HE DID NOT HAVE INJURIES HE WOULD BE NEARER 250 GOALS RATHER THAN 202. (ALTHOUGH DIXON COULD SAY THE SAME)
  13. Thanks for the video of the stoke city game. I just about remember the ossie goal. I hear that Bobby Tambling has been unwell. Hope he gets well very soon. So underrated.
  14. Anyone interested in old pictures try WWW.MIRROPIX.COM . Just type in chelsea (followed by the year) ie 1975 and you will get lots of pictures. The pictures will show the mirrorpix logo.
  15. eddie macs Thankyou so much for the games too watch. Your a true blue. Do you have many games from the 1960's era? I have some games on DVD from the 60s and 70s.
