    Nonsense. At what did he excel? Lumbering about like a brick-man with glue on his shoes? Perhaps a bit harsh, but I have always maintained that his selection is only ever justified by the strength of those around him - players such as Cole, Terry, Alex, Ivanovic, (not Bosingwa), Lampard, Essien. Granted, his performances in the Champions League finals were prolific, but on those occasions his objectives were clear. When Chelsea go down early in the EPL he doesn't know how to respond because he only has one style of play.
