Agree about Benitez, I want a manager that is in it 'for the long haul' as I greatly value managerial stability, but that is unlikely with Roman as the owner. Falcao would be a dream but can't see it happening in January to be honest, Cavani would be great too but same story. We always knew this season was going to be a 'transitional' phase where we shouldn't expect to win the title, but I can't help but feel that a prolific no. 9 is what is holding us back. I would be gutted to see him leave, my favourtie Chelsea player ever. Actually, if he left because the board wouldn't give him a contract because of his age and he actually wanted to stay I would be furious, not gutted.

Hi all, My name is Dan, in case it wasn't obvious. More importantly I have been a Chelsea fan since I was a young boy (my Dad and Grandfather are also Chelsea fans) and am now 18 and about to study in London, I hope to get to many more games at the Bridge as I will be living very close by. Never really been part of a forum before but have lurked on this and a few other forums and thought it was time to join up. Hope to add to some discussions on here and make sensible conversation :). Few things about my time as a Chelsea fan: Favourite player of all time has to be Frank Lampard. I have some much man-love for this guy. Terry is a close second. Best moment has to be that night in Munich... predictable answer. I am most certainly not a fan of Torres but do my best to not slag him off. The worst moment for me was when Robbie was sacked, first time I have ever felt ashamed of the club for the manner in which they dealt with things. Anyhow, hope to have a good time here and have good discussions and debates with some of you, and maybe see a few at games later on!:)
