  1. Lukaku if we can count him even though he is on loan. I agree with the other posters about Luiz as well.
  2. another goal for him, wow
  3. Nice interview with Chalobah and Zola: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21528209#asset
  4. Yep he just turned 16 last month apparently. Anyone think he would be ready for a loan move when he hits 17? I hope he is, he is very technically gifted.
  5. Certainly. A lot of politicians/football fans still have the thought of Hillsborough in their minds so it won't be an easy or popular thing to introduce in my opinion. However, 'Safe Standing' is, I am sure, much more safe than what we currently do: standing up in seated areas! It would undoubtedly improve atmosphere, increase ground capacity (so long as the local area can support it) and, hopefully (though I shall not hold my breath), decrease ticket prices. So yes, I say bring on standing!
  6. I would just explode with joy if he came back to Chelsea. Not only for his tactical/management skills but his interviews and reactions to things are hilarious!
  7. I don't particularly care for the private lives of any players whether they're Chelsea or otherwise, but something that really pisses me off is when Utd scrape a win it is the stuff of "champions" - anyone else and they fluked it...
  8. I enjoyed it very much, Moi, hope you do too. Recently watched Django Unchained and that was amazing as well - I'm also studying this particular period in history right now haha!
  9. people will laugh at City for being sh*t but don't take credit away from S'oton, they've been quality. Hope we beat city and drop them into top 4 race hahaha.
  10. Looks interesting, thanks for sharing
  11. Doubt Lord Coe has the capacity to buy out RA to be honest, and I couldn't imagine a Chelsea without RA anymore. He has done a lot for the club in recent years and is clearly a passionate owner that cares about the club, he is, however, poorly advised. We need 'Football men' on the board not corporate yes-men and jobsworths who are afraid to disagree with RA and give him sound advice. The board, and Roman, must also realise that a season without a major trophy does not warrant a sacking of the manager. All this does is create a circus-esque atmosphere and an attitude of 'short-termism' which leads to the player power and a lack of respect towards the man in charge. It also means the managers are sh*t scared of losing so they only play or buy expensive and established players which leads to our youth being neglected. Also, the manager should be exactly that, the boss. He should choose the transfer targets etc.. not the owner - no more Torres/Shevchenko...We need a manager that is supported by the fans, the owner and the team and this manager must be 'in it for the long haul'. I hope that this is all possible with Roman as the owner as I believe he has genuine passion for the club but his knee-jerk reactions and the lack of spine from the board to stand up to them is what is costing the future longevity of the club and the 'image' of our club world-wide.
  12. ah ok, sorry, I would love to see him here if RA was not here or he was given, as a written clause in his contract, a long time to implement his style on the club. Is it true he plays 3-5-2 at Watford?
  13. Couldn't disagree more. Don't want a(nother) club legend anywhere near the poisoned chalice that is the Chelsea manger position.
  14. No thanks. Jose, Pellegrini, Klopp (doubt he'd leave Dortmund) - any of these would be much better.
  15. He is the only one I included who I didn't watch properly, I have watched full games of his though because I love that kind of player. :)
  16. No, I think both are suited to playing as a lone front man so one or the other, hopefully Ba in the premier league.
  17. Just picking players that I have seen, I am 18 so can't include Pele, Maradona etc.. ------------------Buffon----------------- R.Carlos---Nesta---Cannavaro--Maldini --------------------Pirlo------------------ --------Zidane-------------Laudrup--- -----------Messi--R9--C.Ronaldo---- Wish I had seen the old greats like Maradona, Pele, Best, Cruyff etc. but can't really justify putting them in from Youtube vids alone.
  18. Hi Gary, welcome! I am new here as well, hope you enjoy your stay.
  19. Would be very surprised if this is true. The Mirror broke the story.. lol. We don't exactly need another AM either.
  20. Love for that to be true, can't see it though.
  21. only just tuned in, how has Southampton's young LB Luke Shaw done?
  22. His game against brighton, believe he got MotM.
