SydneyChelsea
Tbh, not even the best in Holland and haven't been since the Sneijder/van der Vaart/Ibrahimovic generation. They are improving, but I think CSKA Moscow will be a much bigger threat.
north stand
The second season of the NextGen Series officially launched today, with further information about Chelsea’s involvement revealed. Earlier this summer, details of the draw were released as Chelsea were placed in Group C alongside last season’s runners-up Ajax, Norwegian outfit Molde, and CSKA Moscow of Russia. Provisional dates and details have been released today, particularly the details of the away games. Moscow beckons on October 3rd as the Blues face CSKA at the October Stadium, whilst at the end of the month they meet Molde in the club’s first team stadium, Aker Stadion. At the end of November – the 29th to be exact – the glamour clash of the group takes place as Ajax host Chelsea at their De Toekomst training complex. Full information on the home slate is yet to be confirmed, although the group opener at home to CSKA will be on August 28th at Cobham. Staines Town’s Wheatsheaf Park is the other nominated home venue. A provisional 24-man squad has also been named, taking players from as wide an age spectrum as the tournament rules allow. Samdwich
Shame that we can't unleash Josh on them, but looking forward to seeing Chalobah, Kane, Piazon and Feruz. Particularly the latter two wit their understanding, tearing through defences.

north stand
Chelsea U-19s were defeated 2-1 by CSKA Moscow U-19s in their their first ever NextGen match, despite being the better side for long periods of the clash at Cobham. Dermot Drummy's men made an excellent start to the first-half by taking the lead ten minutes in through Patrick Bamford, but failed to make their dominance count as CSKA hit back with two goals of their own to go in ahead at the break. Guest LuisSuarez7
They still are the best in Holland, runners up last year, also won the u17 NextGen series. I also forgot to add they smashed our Youth 6-0 in the Semis.. So it won't be as easy getting out of that group as some fans think it will be. Us on the other have a much tougher group. The Moos
Minor update. Because of some strange scheduling two teams in our group have played six games, and the other two have played four. I suppose the group stage has six games for each team, so we're down the our last two. We're currently third with 7 points after PFC CSKA at 12 points and Ajax at 9. Our last two games will be against Ajax so they will be decisive. It seems those games will be played on 29 november and 12 december. From what I can tell we can make it through to the knockout stages if we finish third, because the best four of those advance as well. Oh, and Liverpool are last in their group http://www.nextgenseries.com/

Fearnley
Comfortably top of the U21 table We would live to join you but we thought it better to send our reserves out on loan to gain experience so I guess we just have to settle with the u18s in the country :/

The Moos
Unless I'm mistaking Chelsea are through to the next round. We are currently third in our group and the best four third placed teams advance to the next round and from what I can tell we will be one of them, even if we lose our last game. If Liverpool win their final game, they will overtake us, but that will only make us the 3rd best third placed team, instead of 2nd best. And of course, if we beat Ajax in our final game we will finish 2nd in our group, which definitely gives us a spot in the next round. Teams who are through to the round of 16: Group 1: Barcelona & Anderlecht Group 2: PSG & Juventus (last game will determine which one will finish 1st) Group 3: CSKA Moscow Group 4: Sporting CP & Aston Villa Group 5: Internazionale & Rosenborg Group 6: Olympiacos & Arsenal Chelsea and Ajax face eachother in the final game of Group 3. If Chelsea wins they will be 2nd in the group, if Ajax win they will be 1st. I think PSV will be one of the best third placed teams. Not sure about the rest. Chelsea has conceded only 3 goals. Only PSG and Ajax has conceded as few as that. We've scored 9 goals, which is okay, though six of them came in one game. Eight different players has scored our nine goals. Feruz is the only one who has scored twice.
