Who's better?

Isn't it obvious? It's strange his arguments seem to go Lampard's way, but he then chooses Gerrard, but it's because he is younger.

Despite that, it's complimentary to Frank and highlights his often unnoticed genius.

Bringing in the age argument when Gerrard is a few months away from 29 is ridiculous. The classic riposte used to be "Well, Gerrard is so good now (age 25, 26) he will be the best player in the world in a few years". Yeah, look how that has turned out. Outshone by other premier league players while his own team have gone without any silverware the last two years. Outside looking in for England and in trouble with the law.

But not to worry, im sure he will belt in a few more injury time winners against Hull to seal the deal.
