Michael Essien had an injury scare this morning. Turned up for training and they found that he was 13 stone overweight...on closer inspection the reason was found. He still had Steven Gerrard in his pocket!!!

Also fears of an earthquake in the Merseyside area at 9:30 last night have been calmed. Reports had come in of a large bang. Turns it it wasn't an earthquake after all...just the sound of Rafa Benitez coming back down to earth.

It was one of the first European nights a Liverpool player wasn't burgled while playing, on the other hand Rafa Benitez was mugged, and pumped dry for 90 minutes
