Shouldn't we have a good chance of getting players talented Italians due to the Conte connection ? I would love to have this guy and Verratti on the team.

I don't think he will be good for us. For Everton he's great but will he be able to score against teams defending deep like Crystal Palace today ? I don't think so. I don't think he can play with his back against the goal and he doesn't seem to use his size well either from what I've seen.

Emenalo doesn't have the sense to sign someone like Verrati. We'll sign middling player around 35m pounds. Somone like Mikel/Ramires probably.

Who will we replace him with ? I just hope we don't go for Lukaku. That'll really suck.

Is there a more pointless footballer than Matic ? I hate watching him dither on the ball. CB, CM and RW are still weaknesses in this team. Need to replace Matic and replace Willian/Pedro with someone who has end product.

How often do you see a club selling a star player and actually coming out stronger? Remember how United replaced Ronaldo with turds. Same case for Bale and Spurs. The money will be useless whether its 100m pounds or 150m. I honestly do not trust Emenalo and company at all to sign actual quality players. Kante really fell into our laps but we've had a mediocre record with transfers, especially some of the big name signings we've done. We have 4 players of real quality in this team. Courtois, Hazard, Luiz, and Kante. In europe that really isn't good enough and I'm pretty sure if we sell Hazard we are going to regress very hard. Only hope is if they use all that money for a marquee player but they'll probably split it up into a few overpriced signings.

Really hope we don't get him. A really terrible waste of money.

The club is poorly run in many ways. If Tottenham and Arsenal had our resources they'd do much better than us for sure.

I don't mind selling him to whomever wants to buy him as long as we have a replacement in place that is an improvement on him. The squad needs some investment and he is one of the players who hasn't been that good and yet can be sold for good money.

Woke up this morning and went straight to see Chelsea transfer news. When I saw he was our only link and at 60m euros at that, I couldn't help myself and started sobbing uncontrollably. Hopefully we'll see actually good talent linked once this sh*t euro tournament ends but I am not hopeful. We are already pretty far behind PSG, Barca, Bayern and Madrid etc and signings like these that can't even make it into those teams are only gonna worsen the disadvantage we have to them.

What is the point of Mourinho ? I was excited when he came back but it is clear it was all for nothing. Too much talent on this team and we look hopeless and lost in killing off a game. Players with mediocre offensive qualities playing in attacking positions because of their high work rate. Mediocre players still in the squad based on past reputation (Mikel). What is the point ? City have an aging and troubled squad. We were playing against them when they were down to 10 men for nearly the last 30 minutes of the game. United have a squad in disarray. Both instances we just have looked out of sorts playing against these two teams. I sincerely hope that if we continue like this at home against these two teams that he is gone as he won't be the right person to lead us. This is not dundee United. Too much talent on the team.
