nofizzleforshizzle reacted to abramovich in Diego "the guv'nor" CostaCosta cost us on more than one occasion but the real problem was buying Batshuayi which turned out to be a mistake. We needed someone if not capable of competing for the starting spot then at least a decent backup that can lead the line and chip in with a goal here and there. Michy is clearly not up to the challenge. As a result, we're totally dependent on a moody diva, praying before every match that he'll decide to actually play football instead of turning the game into a pathetic circus. We needed someone that could potentially replace Costa when called upon and do a solid job. We don't have that option and as a result he knows we're stuck with him and plays every game anyway, even when he's embarrassing the club like today and many other times before.

nofizzleforshizzle reacted to Shotgun883 in Alexis SanchezSanchez would be my number one choice for that RW slot. The fact he also can lead the line in an absolute bonus for us. Playing with one up top has always meant that we have struggled to find a decent backup who we can keep in form. Not since Anelka have we had someone who can do that job and he is a cut above Anelka IMO. Cannot see him costing >£40mil though. Especially if Arsenal dont get 4th. will be awesome to see a front line of Hazard, Sanchez and Diego (Morata/Lukaku?) next year.

nofizzleforshizzle got a reaction from Celery1989 in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendHow often do you see a club selling a star player and actually coming out stronger? Remember how United replaced Ronaldo with turds. Same case for Bale and Spurs. The money will be useless whether its 100m pounds or 150m. I honestly do not trust Emenalo and company at all to sign actual quality players. Kante really fell into our laps but we've had a mediocre record with transfers, especially some of the big name signings we've done. We have 4 players of real quality in this team. Courtois, Hazard, Luiz, and Kante. In europe that really isn't good enough and I'm pretty sure if we sell Hazard we are going to regress very hard.
Only hope is if they use all that money for a marquee player but they'll probably split it up into a few overpriced signings.

nofizzleforshizzle reacted to Van Butsen in Random RumoursHe was a nothing player at the euros. Nothing good, nothing bad. Just nothing. If we spend money on J Mario the coach would be inclined to play him and I don't think he's gong to make a difference.

nofizzleforshizzle got a reaction from just in MaticI don't mind selling him to whomever wants to buy him as long as we have a replacement in place that is an improvement on him. The squad needs some investment and he is one of the players who hasn't been that good and yet can be sold for good money.

nofizzleforshizzle reacted to Fatty_Speeding in Our New StadiumYou were looking for excuses not to have to leave the only Chelsea home we've known. Understandable but you cannot say the no vote was in the best interests of Chelsea - that much should be very clear at this point.
Regarding Barn's points, I don't mean to be rude but they're tosh. The CPO board has already spent huge sums of money they don't have investigating "dodgy" share sales at the demands of SayNO and found no wrongdoing. The secrecy was because the club were negotiating £bn projects behind the backs of competitors for the land and an uncooperative council, it would have been suicide to announce such plans in the public domain before they were concluded. Regarding the "no move outside three miles before 2020" promise, that was quite simply what it said on the tin - we wouldn't move outside the three mile radius unless we absolutely had to as all other options were exhausted; I would agree making this promise was a mistake because it gave the conspiracy theorists scope for creating nonsense about Milton Keynes, Surrey, Moscow etc etc to scare the necessary gullible minority into a no vote.

nofizzleforshizzle reacted to abramovich in Random RumoursNever watched him play, but on Youtube Kondogbia looks like he's seriously lacking in technical ability on the ball.

nofizzleforshizzle reacted to Fatty_Speeding in Our New StadiumIt looks too narrow, although the area to the right hand side of the site doesn't look particularly notable, so could maybe be bought up. Anyone who knows the area able to verify what this land is?
