bcarroll
According to a report emanating from Setanta, Premier League club Chelsea are keeping tabs on AZ forward Moussa Dembele. The 19-times capped Belgium international, who has scored five goals for his country, has been in impressive form for the North Holland-based outfit this season, scoring eight goals in 22 Eredivisie matches, helping them clinch the title. The versatile midfielder, who can play on the wing as well as in the centre or even as a striker, insists he is happy at AZ, although he has suggested he is ready to move on. It is thought that a transfer away from the DSB Stadion may depend on whether head coach Louis van Gaal joins Bayern Munich this summer, but he says the Dutch tactician's future will not determine his own. "I am an AZ player," Dembele told De Telegraaf. "But you want at any given moment also to make a step further. "If Van Gaal is still at the club it is positive, but it is not a determining factor. "I do not have to leave when he leaves and I will not continue if he continues." Arsenal have also been linked with the 6ft 1in 21-year-old in the past, as have Serie A giants Inter, Juventus and Milan. geezer
8 goals in 22 games in a league where Kezman scored about 1,000 in one season? Not a very good strike rate is it?
