Thought this would be as good a place as any to keep an "all seeing eye" (Easy Liam) on our young lads who are on loan.
Been a flurry of activity today, and here are the names of the players and the clubs they are going to (or remaining at)

Courtois - Atletico (La Liga, Spain)
Kalas and Van Aanholt - Vitesse (Eredivisie, Holland)
Pirez and Davila - Sabadell (segunda Division, Spain)

Shevchenko is one of the greatest players I have seen in my lifetime.
Those two goals brought an incredibly warm feeling in my heart, I idolised the guy when I was growing up, just looking at how much it meant for Ukraine and the guy should rightfully go down as a legend of the game and have the streets and squares of Ukraine named after him. The standing ovation he got was awesome.

I'm not convinced they'd cope nearly so well with the level of competition in the Premier League. In La Liga, you've got Barcelona, Real Madrid and not a lot else.
It could easily be argued that this lack of serious domestic competition makes it easier for them in the Champions League. How so? Look at Liverpool under Benitez. He pretty much gave up on the Premiership, concentrating all his efforts on the Champions League. Barcelona, lacking the same level of competition, don't have to go all out to win La Liga.
The Premiership, on the other hand, is a long hard slog. Would Barcelona's current brand of football last the pace? I seriously have my doubts. The closest English equivalent are Arsenal. And how far has their footballing philosophy got them over the last few years?
