Posted October 27, 200915 yr I have a question regarding this match. I know it's 3 months before that but at the moment flights are rather cheap for me and I'm planning to come to the match. I have to book the flights and the hotel now. Do you think there might be a risk that the match is postponed? We had this last year with Everton away hadn't we? It was postponed two times I think and I don't want this to happen. Usually I book flights for a match 4-5 weeks before but they are rather expensive, now I could get a cheap flight so I don't have to pay a fortune to see the Blues :) Thanks in advance

The FA Cup 4th round is due to take place the previous Sat , and any replays from this would be played the week after the Brum match (2/3 Feb) i think. Any possible League Cup semi finals are due to played WC 4 Jan and WC 18 Jan so that wont be an issue. I say book em Danno! but dont blame me if things change! Edited October 29, 200915 yr by bjd
October 29, 200915 yr Agreed. I think the last home game which got postponed was against Villa back around '99 due to flooding on the pitch caused by the rain running off the East stand roof.
October 29, 200915 yr Author Cheers guys :D I've already booked the flights as they had already increased the price for them. Bloody bar stewards. Living in a small city with the airport about 120km away from me and a pretty bad connection to and from the airport it is always a challenge to come to a Chelsea match. But I'm really looking forward to it enjoyed last Saturday at the Bridge.
