FIFA, clearly bored of bottling out of dealing with diving, appear to be keen to pass the task of bottling it on to individual associations

FIFA are entirely devoid of backbone and unfortunately so are the FA so don't expect this cancer of the game to be dealt with anytime soon (at least in the English game). Furthermore how will this the repercussions of different associations dealing with it manifest when it comes the Champions League being operated, as it is, by UEFA.

FIFA have, once again, failed miserably in their remit of being football's governing body and, as always, the need for their very existence needs to be questioned.
