Young Brazilian catches the eye

Featured Replies

Chelsea are reportedly interested in the young Brazilian international Paulo Henrique Ganso, who currently plays for Santos.

Ganso, who plays his club football at in Brazil, has only played one game for Brazil but it already appears that he will be an international regular.

The 21 year-old looks like an exciting prospect and Chelsea could offer in the region of £20-30million to acquire the young star.

Carlo Ancellotti's Blues have struggled to defend their title this season and it looks like they may surrender it come May.

They will be well aware that their ageing squad has performed poorly in the league and will want to replenish it with a younger crop of players.

However, the last time Chelsea went after a young Brazilian prospect, their £20million bid was accepted but Neymar, the target that time around, decided to stay in South America.

Chelsea go to Fulham on Monday evening in the Premier League and will be looking to put their 1-0 defeat against Liverpool the previous weekend behind them.

I will be honest, i have seen nothing of this kid except for youtube, however i have read a lot about him (plus his youtube highlights are very impressive) and he looks like an exceptional talent. Obviously with the money it would be a risk but i think it would be a risk well worth taking. The type of creative player we need in our midfield
