Without Hazard we lose our spark but we still have far superior quality, added into the fact that our forms been excellent in recent games whilst they lost their title decider to Porto over the week-end. Also, historically we up our games in finals (the important ones - not super Cup or Club World Cup) - although this record is mainly thanks to Didier. Comparatively they've lost their last 7 finals. Anyway, considering Hazard is out, I don't really have the confidence for Moses to put in a performance so would plug that hole with Ramires. I would like to see something a bit different in this game. Whether it be change of the players (not Benayoun) by bringing in some of the youngsters who have been performing excellently in the NextGen series or a change of system as the current 4231 doesn't get the best out of our players. Arguably are current best team's front five is: Ramires, Lampard; Oscar, Mata, Hazard; Ba. In this system all players apart from Mata and Ba are slightly out of position. Ramires is a box to box midfielder, so is Lampard, whilst Oscar and Hazard are both more effective in the middle. If I were in charge I'd look at a 4321 to suit more of our players or even try 2 up top and see how Ba and Torres work together.

I would love to see Feruz somewhere near the team but I know it won't happen.

The only benefit of this wretched competition is that it gives Super Frank more games to beat the goal record.

I really can't put my finger on what's going wrong at home at the moment. Now we actually have a striker that team on paper is as good as anyone's in the league and we still can't hold onto a 2-0 lead at home to a poor Southampton side. It's easy to blame FSW but the players have to take some flack too.

Letting Lamps leave in this fashion angers me more than anything else going on around the club at the moment. More than FSW and more than the comical way our club is run. He's still quality, and even if he's declining the board should still be treating him better than what they are. Complete disrespect. For me, he's still a regular starter as it isn't a coincidence that every time he plays we seem to win.
