Ok, so the Hillsborough stuff comes up every year. Obviously any tragedy where people die is a sad thing. Theres a lot of people trying to get 100,000 signatures for full release of governent documents. I am not fully aware of what this is all about.

My understanding is this:

Police say too many fans charged forward without tickets and got into the stand, ultimately making it collapse.

Those opposed to this arguement are arguing that this isnt true and the policve are covering up / lying.

Is this correct?

Obviously this is a touchy subject, but I just want to understand what this is all about and what the people who demand justice hope to achieve? Do they think the blame lies with police or what is your understanding?

I dont mean to sound ignorant and I'm not being funny...just unsure why this comes up every year.
