Kind of annoying no one came in in the end, really thought we'd get some sort of forward. A defensive midfielder would've been nice, especially with ess leaving. I know we're still pretty overloaded in there, quantity's fine, quality could have been improved.

i think we really missed a trick with nigel de jong going to AC. i think he would have been the replacement for makelele that we have been waiting for all this time with premiership experience. The defence mid role seriously needs looking at, it will cost us in the big games the season i fear............
