vs Swansea Ratings

Eton Blue at the Chelsea Megastore

Recommended Posts

Cech - 6 - Didn't actually have all that much to do, but did it well mostly. Goal came through a crowd of legs, would have been very difficult to save.

Cole - 3 - Worst performance i've seen him put in since his first season with us when he was a bit dodgy I seem to recall.

Cahill - 7 - Won a lot of headers, made some crucial last ditch tackles.

Ivanovic - 6 - Thought he played well with Cahill alongside

Azpilicueta - 6 - Not involved a whole lot. Maybe should have cleared the ball farther for their goal rather than to the edge of the box

Romeu - 5 - Didn't really offer anything useful

Mikel - 5.5 - Seemed to be going much farther forward at times today. Several moments where he had players around him and he tried to hold them all off and ended up losing it, so fairly frustrating.

Oscar - 6 - Tidy but didn't create a whole lot

Hazard - 6.5 - Worked hard, had a few decent shots and put some good balls in

Moses - 6.5 - Cheeky goal and caused them a few problems

Torres - 4.5 - One header aside, offered very little, especially in the 2nd half where he must have only touched the ball a few times.

SUBS:

Ramires - 5.5 - Not his usual self, though got a few good tackles in

Sturridge - 5.5 - Didn't really do much

Bertrand - N/A Not long enough

RDM - 5.5 - Would have preferered Sturridge to replace Torres not Moses, and Marin could have come on later rather than trying to defend a 1-0 lead.

Seems a bout right, would give Hazard 7 because he didn't stop working.

Sturridge definitely should have come on for Torres - Moses was putting in some very dangerous runs both out wide and when he came back inside, Swansea were pulling off him all the time.
