I’m currently a third year student at Liverpool John Moores University, I am working on a dissertation project for university, my study is ‘to explore the fans perceptions of the influx of foreign players and owners in the English Premier League’. Interesting question though and probably not a bad one to debate on here.

Personally I think far too much is made of it.  I work for an insurance underwriter's in London and there has been a massive influx of foreign workers and money over the past 5-10 years.  It's not just football, the world is now an awful lot smaller than it used to be.
