Posted March 22, 201312 yr My local team, Gloucester, are in serious financial and still haven't recovered from the floods that destroyed their stadium back in 2007: On Wednesday they're playing against Colwyn Bay (Frank Sinclair is their player/manager) at Whaddon Road, Cheltenham and you can pay what you like to get in - http://www.gloucestercityafc.com/press-release-pay-what-you-want-colwyn-bay-27th-march/ There are people from all over the country hoping to get to the game (some Wigan and Norwich fans that I know of) - any Chels going?
March 22, 201312 yr Bloody hell! I didn't realise it had been that long since they were made homeless, time flies. I'm not far away myself but unfortunately can't make it along Wednesday. My local club Worcester City are going to be in a similar boat next season, albeit for different reasons. Hopefully there'll be a huge turnout and some decent money made to put towards getting them back to where they belong. Ps: Do you know any of the guys who travel to Chelsea games regularly from the Gloucester/Cheltenham area? A guy called Jimmy runs a minibus. I've used it a couple of time for Swansea and Leeds away.
