Okay so who is on the cards for the off this Summer?

 

Luiz already gone for a tidy fee, thanks PSG, nice doing business with you but you now need to pay us.

 

Cole released, appears won't re sign, good luck and thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

 

Lamps released but may still possibly re sign on a 1 year although I doubt it. Chelsea legend, will never be forgotten.

 

Who else?

 

Hopefully someone will come in for Mikel, £10m would be fine, £15m even better but can't see it, maybe somewhere in the middle.

 

Ramires, sadly time to go methinks, had a howler this last season, runs and runs all day like Forest Gump but ask him to complete a pass or not get caught in possession, he just goes into complete meltdown. Some of his tackles are cringing and simply lets the team down, in return he rarely gets decisions in his favour that he would normally deserve. Had high hopes but not in for the long haul.

 

Now come to Nando, gotta go mate, sorry, we stumped a ton of cash but just hasn't produced the goods, season in and season out, again had high hopes but it aint gonna happen now is it? Okay so he has helped us win a CL and EL, his work rate has been superb at times but we should be getting 20 odd goals a season from the guy surely?

 

Now with a certain hesitance, we come to Oscar. Superb talent for sure, flashes of sheer brilliance but can he man-up, handle the pace and physicality? Am not sure, jury is out, would love him to make it big with us but dependant on how he performs first half of the season, he could be gone in January, sad to say.

About right, If we can sign a World Class midfielder Romeu, Mikel and Lampard are expendable. If not Keeping Mikel and Lamps will be neccesary.

 

Lamps will always be welcome back in a coaching capacity, hes at the age that Id like to see him retire, he's not influencial enough on the pitch for us but I dont want to see him elsewhere. Maybe a money spinning tour in the US.

 

Dumping both Torres and Ba is a no go for me, unless we sign 2 strikers AND keep Lukaku its just not going to happen. Keep Ba, lose Torres. 50/50 though but wages, value Ba is better for FFP, precisely why Torres wont move.

 

Im glad to see Hilario and Schwarzer move on. Never seen the justification for having 2 overage goalkeepers. Neither seem up to the task of competeing for the No1 shirt, at least Blackman and Delac/AN Other could come in and develop into a potentially good Gk.

 

With the tread though DISPENSIBLES;

 

Everyone... Although I think this team has alot of potential there is no one that jumps from the page as indespensible. No one has really made themselves undroppable last year, maybe this year we will get a real feel for it but IMO there is no one in the club where we would outright refuse any offer for. Lamps, Terry, Drogba, Cole, they were irreplaceable.

 

To those saying they'd like to see Oscar going,  not for me in a million years will Oscar move without a bid of £60 mil or higher. He had a quiet second half of the season, with injuries. He is probably our second best attacking player and will show it next year. People are writing off a 22 year old with 30 Caps for Brazil without looking at the fact he played for virtually 2 years solid, 64 games for us last year, the Olympics, Confederations Cup., will play in the World Cup this year. A decent rest for him is absolutely needed.

To be honest, I'd keep Mikel and Lamps. I'd keep Schwarzer too if we decided to loan Courtois to Atletico for another season (but I would like to see both Cech and Courtois here at Chelsea next season fighting for a starting place).

 

Players that I think we could do without are: Ramires (great work ethic but very, very limited as a footballer), Torres (sorry, but one day we need to come to our senses), and Ba (we don't play to his strengths).
