During our 2 decade run of complete domination at White Hart Lane, as it went on, I found that became quite unpleasant at times. I probably can't blame them - if I'd been a Spud I'd have hated us too after all that time, but it got quite moody towards the end.

From the point Roman took over, the utter, hateful resentment of Liverpool has become apparent. Had it ones toes at many places...Ive written about a couple on here i think...Ill add another....Bristol Rovers....coach there........Remember around ten of us walking the streets to the ground....( 70s by the way).....Our clothing may have been the decider for a mob of rovers boys to gather on the op side of the road slating us....I think we started throwing bottles and bricks across the road at them and they initially ran off....Only to come back with a few more chaps who in turn threw stuff at us...Running up and down the road...One lot chasing the other  UNTILL another mob joined in and they werent ours...We legged it for god knows how long till we lost em or they gave up...IT WAS THE SENSIBLE THING TO DO...we lived to fight again
