ossie13
Deano Was in Orlando 2 years ago and the onlt place I could find showing the footie was the "Cricketers Arms" in the Mercado Centre on International Drive! But they do charge I think it was $10 each, and dont forget you will have to get up early as they are 5 hours behind so a 3.00pm KO is 10.00am!!! Keep Blue Cheers Steve
bluedeano
Scott and Steve, many thanks. The 'Cricketers' has its own website with a useful 'calendar of games', nothing posted for April yet, but guess thats coz they dont know the schedules yet, so i've stuck it in me 'favourites', and will keep an eye . The Spudz game yesterday was ten dollars so that'll do me nicely if i can't find anywhere cheaper or indeed, free. If anyone else knows anywhere please post. Carefree and many thanks ! There are only two stations that play Chelsea games, Setanta and FSC. Nearly all games play on one of these two, the only game I have not been able to watch this season live was the Tottenham game this past weekend. Here is where to find the TV schedule for Setanta: http://na.setanta.com/portal/systemcont ... n=channel& Here is where to find the TV schedule for FSC: http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/920998 FSC plays on Comcast and DirecTV (not sure if any others), whereas Setanta only plays on DirecTV. Call the local pubs and ask about these stations.

Joel
How do you get Setanta out here? I have Cable so can get FSN, but I don't know about Setanta, do you have to have Direct TV for that? As Scott said Setanta is carried exclusively by DirecTV ($15/month for just the one channel!). The North American broadcast rights for the various European leagues have tended to vary quite a bit in recent years from season to season, so I'm very curious to see how things pan out this summer for who will be showing what. I intend to cancel Setanta in May after everything's done and then see if the situation is going to change for next season. The Spurs Cup tie was only on Setanta Premium via PPV, which isn't available in residential areas at all that I can tell. A couple pubs in downtown Minneapolis screened the game but it was too early for me to get up and haul myself down there.
