Hello, fellow Chelsea fans

I have just purchased tickets for this year's Community Shield, but I have a few questions.

Firstly, both my brother and I are True Blue members (Juniors), and since our accounts are linked, would our seats be together as I purchased the tickets together?

Secondly, the tickets were ordered via Special Delivery (by default). However, I am unsure as to how long I should wait for the delivery before contacting Chelsea. If anyone is aware or has had any experience, please let me know. What if I'm not home to sign for the tickets? Would they go to the local Royal Mail depot? Or would they be returned to the box office (unsure, as this is a Wembley match).

Finally, the website states that bottles are prohibited. So how would we bring in water? Are PLASTIC bottles prohibited? What about drink cartons? It seems rather strange that bottles in general are said to be banned. Also, are there any snacks that you guys would recommend taking in? My little brother gets peckish a lot and might want to have a snack at half-time.

This will be our first time attending a Chelsea match and I just wanted to sort out a few things early on as I might get too excited and forget later on!

How many of you are going? We live in west London so might just take the buses (2 of them) rather than the tube (which is always delayed when I need to use it  :face_palm: )

Thanks

Hi mate,

i'll try my best to answer your questions.

1- If you have bought two tickets together, they should be situated next to one another. Check for an email confirmation that might tell you exactly where your seats are.

2- As with any special delivery they would be left with a neighbor or taken to a depot.

3- Some grounds don't allow any bottles in full stop, so if you have them in sight as you are going through the turnstiles you might have them taken off of you so just be careful.

4-We don't know what your little brother likes so it is up to you what to take lol. Don't buy anything at wembley as it will be about £3 for a packet of fruit pastilles etc.

Enjoy the game.
