With a week to go, the bookies and newspapers are frantically picking their pre-season favorites. Although it's neck and neck between Utd and Chelsea (surprisingly few picking Liverpool), from what I've seen Chelsea just have the edge of the Mancs.

The Guardian gives a pretty compelling reason why Mourinho has had the edge in the past few years... If you look at the Premiership Preview out on Monday 6th, there's a table showing how the top 4 have fared against each other.

Mourinho comes out on top by a mile while Benitez's record is quite gallingly bad.
