Call your airlines as Athens has experienced heavy snow falls and the airport has been closed all yesterday and until just now (this is not a joke)

My husband has been stuck at Rhodes airport since 6pm clock yesterday and they are still there now - they left heathrow at 12.30 lunchtime yesterday and they are still not there yet ( flight was dirverted to Rhodes for safety reasons)

My father in law's flight this morning has been cancelled from Gatwick and they have been told to go back tomorrow in the hope they can get them on a flight in time

A complete nightmare from start to finish

sky sports just said that chelsea's plane circled the runway for 90 minutes while they cleared the snow away...sounds a mare...i didn't think athens would be that cold

-8 degrees when we landed but we were lucky as we only had a three hour delay. Unique to see the Acropolis surrounded by snow.
