abramovich
against Poland. Haven't seen him in a while, hopefully he'll do well, i had high hopes for the kid.
Gem
I went to see QPR vs. Sheffield United a few weeks ago, he pretty much dominated everything.
Tim
Really Gem? Was he that impressive? Good news if so, as I had kinda resigned myself to the fact that he would make a good Championship player, but would never be good enough to make it through to the Chelsea ranks. Gem
Well, it's not the hardest task to tame the Sheffield United forwards, but what he was asked to do, he did well. Couldn't tell you if he was Premiership class, but I was impressed from what I saw.
abramovich
He is playing RB against Poles. I was under the impression he was a centreback but Pearse is using him as a fullback for some reason.
JT26CFC
I don't think he can be in the first team for awhile, great prospect though. He keeps on grabbing players shirts giving away dumb free kicks to Poland. But he is at passing. (Very boring game )
Tim
rough deal being played out of position in an international, but good to know he's getting and taking his chances at Championship level, unlike poor Scott who really should have gone to Palace... geezer
He has played at right back many times now for QPR rather than as a central defender so he is showing good signs of adaptability which should come in handy for him in the future as it gives him more options. TomP
If he is doing the business at Championship level, then I wouldn't at all mind seeing us ship off Ben Haim in the summer and going with JT, Carvalho, Alex and Macciene as our centrebacks next season. Especially as we still have Essien and Ferreira who did pretty decently there last season when required. In my opinion, if we are serious about youth development, we really should reserve some squad places (like 4th choice centre back) for promising youngsters. Guest
Unless he is a really really promising player (at least Bendtner promising, preferably Rooney promising), i'd rather wait until I see him doing the business at Premiership level the way TBH and Sidwell were prior to joining Chelsea before I think seriously about replacing them with youngsters like him in the squad. But maybe i'm just overly cautious...
