Ericksson at the Anfield Match

I missed it on the footage, but apparently Sven was watching in the stands.

Obviously, he might have been there to watch a good game of football, but I wonder how long it will take the press to put him up as either a Grant (or Rafa) replacement next season?

Personally, my views on him have changed a fair bit from when he was England manager. Seems a lot more suited to club-level football than internationals if you ask me. I never really followed what he did with Lazio, but he was obviously successful with them as well. Wouldn't be a terrible choice as new manager in my opinion (ducks-for-cover).

At Lazio he bought players left and right and spent money like there's no tomorrow, so he'd be perfect at Chelsea. icon_rolleyes.gif

Seriously speaking, he's been quite succesful in club football, even when he hasn't had huge amounts of money to build the team with. UEFA Cup win with Göteborg is probably his most remarkable achievement. He's won league titles and cups at most of the clubs he's been at.

and if he builds a side with the equivalent attacking talent of nedved, veron, crespo, mancini etc then who wouldn't be happy? I'd take him.
