Hello,

I am currently doing my final year project at university and its on how big money takeovers affect football clubs.

As part of this work I am looking at how it affects the fans.

How have you been affected since Roman Abramovich purchased the club?

Im interested in stuff like ticket prices/policies, other costs, etc

Thanks in advance for any response.

You may have a more interesting response if you ask HERE & HERE.

Roman is a bit different to the rest of the big money takovers, he actually loves Chelsea and has lost a lot of his own money supporting us.

Flair - Down

Atmosphere - Down

Prices - Up

Expectations - Up

Dissapointment after one loss in about 20 games - Up

Main thing for me is the last two points. From the money, came the results, and now, we expect results all the time. Before Roman, Uefa Cup spots were good and finishing 4th on the last day of the season from a Jesper goal was f**king imense =D

Now i admit i expect too much, and feel that the club should always be winning, even though i know no club could win all the time in this league 300.gif
