All of what Keegan said was total tripe.

Excuses for a team with fans who want too much after past near glory.

Plus, Everton finished fourth only 3 seasons back, Spurs missed out on last day a couple back and now look how teams like Villa, Pompey and Blackburn are building themselves up with young talent.
