No, I think the fact that it's now been reported that both Tevez & Mascherano were offered to ourselves, The Arse and Manure kind of puts paid to any theory regarding Roman being behind the move.

Whether we make a move for one of them in the future, I don't think anyone knows, it all depends on how they do I suppose. Personally right now I'd prefer to see Tevez join us rather than Mascherano.
