Wigan v Chelsea (PL) 19/08/12 KO 13:30 BST
Happy with the 3 points but that performance left more than a lot to be desired. Apart from a few fleeting moments the transition from defence to attack was far too laboured and lacking in any real urgency, I know it was probably brought about by scoring so early but it's a habit we had at times last season and it's a habit that needs breaking if we're going to compete this season.
- Hulk coming to Chelsea?

Mass Effect 3
It took me 28 hours but I finally completed it today. It's a great game and I was happy enough with my ending.

Chelsea v Tottenham (PL) 24/03/12 KO 12:45 GMT
Considering this was a must win game the performance from the midfield and forwards was toothless to say the least.

Man City v Chelsea (PL) 21/03/12 KO 19:45 GMT
Lucky to get to half time level. A few too many casual performances for my liking.

Fabrice Muamba
Yeah it was unbelievable what Champion was saying, he more or less killed him off, at least John Barnes to his credit pointed out that numerous players have survived similar situations. Fingers crossed Muamba pulls through.

Birmingham v Chelsea (FA Cup) 06/03/12 KO 19:45 GMT
Another insipid display against a well organised team. Bad miss by Torres at the end but it was on his weaker foot.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
Check out his rocket of a goal from Friday against Benfica, Hulk Smash. http://www.youtube.c...d&v=38Ret_C_oQg (Apologies for the link, I don't know how to embed YouTube).

AVB Sacked!
I hope there is no gagging order included in his severance package, as I'd be very interested to hear what he really thinks of his time here.

AVB Sacked!
Such a shame but not at all surprising.

West Brom v Chelsea (PL) 03/03/12 KO 15:00 GMT
So true. If the players want AVB out they're going the right way about it, I doubt they'll be any improvement against Birmingham.

How much do we need to spend in transfer fees?
I voted for £150-200 million, with included Chelsea tax. Our biggest problem is that the type of players we need (wingers, creative midfielders and strikers) really don't come cheap. Obviously if we go out and sign potential stars then the cost would come down but I think we'll continue to travel the signing established players route. Hopefully we'll be able to offset some of the cost by selling some of our "deadwood", but I don't imagine we'll get a great deal of money for some and we'll end up loaning out a few no doubt.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
IF Spurs play this sh*t for the rest of the season and IF we sort out some kind of good form I really think we could get back to third place.

AVB - who's behind him?
John Richardson (Daily Express) on the Sunday Supplement managed to twist it round to AVB getting the sack if he didn't win the Champions League this seson! I promptly turned off after that so I don't know whether he was corrected or not, though I doubt he was.

Bayer Leverkusen v Chelsea (CL) 23/11/11 KO 19:45 GMT
I'm happy that Meireles gets a start not so much with Drogba retaining his place, his "performance" on Sunday hardly warrants it. If it's right that Bertrand isn't in the Champions League squad that means that Cole is the only recognised left back which seems a bit short sighted.

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 20/11/11 KO 16:00 GMT
Are we going to get the all action Drogba of old today or the damp squib of recent months? Only time will tell.

Is Ashley Cole worrying anybody else?
It may seem petty but the thing I find most frustrating with Ashley is his total one footedness, he appears loathe to use his right foot and I find it staggering the amount of times he elects to make a negative pass with his left rather than attempt some fairly easy progressive passes with his right. It's a total momentum killer.

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 23/10/2011 KO 1600 BST
Shambolic first half. The players seem surprised that QPR are playing a physical game. AVB clearly hasn't done his research on Warnock.

Chelsea v Everton (PL) 15/10/11 KO 17:30 BST
So we should be getting the ball to them quicker then, yes?
-
Chelsea v Everton (PL) 15/10/11 KO 17:30 BST
True we don't need to push the tempo but it would be nice if we put Everton to the sword.

Chelsea v Everton (PL) 15/10/11 KO 17:30 BST
2-0 at less than a canter. Get Mikel off as he's not needed and up the tempo and we could go someway towards clawing back some of that goal difference. I know Waddle hates us but to claim that Everton didn't deserve to be losing and were the better team is plain moronic.

Breaking Bad
I think it's shown on FX on satellite/cable in the UK. I get it by other means though as I can't be doing with the waiting and the adverts.

Breaking Bad
I've watched it from the outset and for me it's up there as one of the best shows ever, brilliantly written and directed and Brian Cranston is beyond fantastic. It still surprises me that it's passed so many people by in the UK, I keep on recommending it to my friends but they never watch it.

Bolton v Chelsea (PL) 2/10/11 KO 13:30 GMT
Huzzah!! I had £1 on 5-1 @ 50/1. Lovely stuff.

Bolton v Chelsea (PL) 2/10/11 KO 13:30 GMT
No clean sheet again. It's turning into rather a nasty habit.
