I have received a email from the club, saying about the funday on Monday 11th August, watching the team train at The Bridge.

Has anyone been to previous fun days, and if so, was it enjoyable.

I guess there would be a lot of photo opportunities avavilable, but what are my chances of getting a Chelsea shirt signed by some of the players.

I am getting married on the 18th October, and it would be a ideal present for my bestman.

I did write to the club, to see if I could get a csard signed by the team, but they said no, stating that he might sell it on EBay.

I know my mate, if he had a signed Chelsea card/shirt, he would save that first if his house caught fire, and then save his wife..... :lol:

I remember something in the stuff that came through from Chelsea about it being for kids - bouncy castles and the like! (Plus the chance to see the players training) You may have to borrow a child!

i went to the last open training day when mourinho was still in charge. only lampard stayed at the end to sign stuff, but i heard some of the crowd say that joe cole once stayed behind at a previous event. probably just depends on their mood on the day. it was good fun though - kids were there, but kids are fun, so .... :D
