EA did it in 2000....why did it take so much time for FM to do...and they do have a more complete game. Like always, can't wait to play, but the 3D engine is long overdue. I just realised this, with the press conferance feature...you can fully recreate Chelsea and be hated for anything you say.

it's a lot more complex, already very high processing power needed.. they will without doubt f**k it up

my issues aren't processing power (now I have a new laptop) really...

they are:

1) 2d top down of the screen is perfect- you need to see where all the players are at once, a 3d version would be fine but not necessary.

2) the animation will be rubbish, there will be 3 standard tricks and a limited amount of "goals"... will get boring watching the animations- the 2d version left enough to the imagination while giving you all the visual information needed.

3) will be riddled with more bugs than pauly is with std's. we will see cannavaro man mark by standing 35 yards away from van nistelrooy. remember when players would suddenly stop moving 2 feet away from the ball and someone 20 yards away will simply run in and take the ball? this type of thing will happen again, more and will be more frustratingly stupid.

4) processing power. I lied- even if you have a strong computer, I'd rather have more leagues / detail than 3d, making the game no doubt look like a drunk version of fifa 99 or something.

5) the time taken for this could have been used for more important things, obviously trying to make the match engine more resemble football- it improved last time despite bugs but still feels like you are playing a simulator of what a blind man understands football is after a stupidly detailed lecture from a well read platapus... you play to the game's logic, not what applies in reality.

6) bah.
