I was impressed by this lad Kaby. Strong on the ball and looks like he can run all day. And also, Billy Clifford has good vision. Hope he makes it to the first team in the near future. As someone else pointed out in another thread, I think Lukaku needs to shed a few pounds and become a lil more agile and quick. He had a couple of delicious through balls and his pace let him down. For a lad of his size he also needs to win more headers. IMO he has a long way to go to become a first team regular.

Instead of losing points in the last 5 mins, did we ever gain some in the last two years?! Ridiculous substitutions by AVB! Torres off at 70 minutes even though he doesnt have a game to play for the next 2 weeks?! I dont believe in the consolation that a point away from home at Mestalla. I do agree that his form at Bolton was superb and I was looking forward to having him back at CFC as much as everyone. But I have to differ from u when u say 'he was very good today'. His positioning and intent when he was off the ball were very questionable, to say the least. I was concentrating on his play more than anyone else's. He was not going for balls that were 50-50 and he somehow displayed utter reluctance to play on the right flank. I have caught nearly 5 Chelsea players ahead of him on the pitch more than twice, considering we dont usually have a pacy counter attack..at least not in those particular moves I am referring to. All in all, disappointed with his performance. I sure think the lad deserves more game time but he needs to show the 'hunger' he has been talking quite a bit about, recently.

Are u saying that based on this game? Studge has not earned a start considering his display only today. Yes the alternatives to starting Studge are a lil questionable..but still not at all convinced by his performance today..especially after drawing so much attention and sporting so much 'hunger'

Of course he didnt want to be there! With the likes of Malouda who resist every chance to pick him up even when he creates enough space for himself, who would want to be there?! Again a lack luster performance from the side..but 3 points in the bag..
