  1. I've been offered "East Stand Exec" seats for a game. Has anybody ever sat in these seats? Are they any good? I have a young one with me so I need to make sure the visibility will be good for him. Thanks for your help.
  2. Perfect. Love the idea of Fellaini in CDM. I think there might be a couple of more options for a CF as well. The only thing I'd wonder about is recalling Courtois. He's doing great at AM, and Cech has got at least two more years in him if not more. I personally think older GKs are better GKs. Putting Courtois on the bench might not do him much good. Also, is Lukaku really ready to start every game, or a lot of games, if Ba and the new 40m striker are in the mix? He too shouldn't rot on the bench. Oh yeah, and how convinced is everybody of Azip? I'm not sure of him yet. I know great LBs don't grow on trees though...
  3. I'm just trying to find field-side seats (front row, next to the dugout) for the Sunderland game. Maybe I'm dreaming... I'm willing to pay whatever it takes though...
  4. The Viagogo page doesn't work :-(. It doesn't show seat numbers, row numbers, etc. Just whole sections. I must say, it's pretty amazing how hard it is to buy tickets to a game! Is is that most of the tickets are sold to season ticket holders?
  5. Ahhh! Duplicate! Please ignore!
  6. Is there a detailed seat map for Stamford Brigde somewhere? I am going to my first live game (after being a US-based tele-supporter for years). The only seat maps I've see just show you the different stands, but you have no idea what seat is where beyond that. I am looking at tickets on row R on the East Stand, Seat 122. Where is that seat? Is it closer to the middle? How many seats up from the field is row R? Any help would be appreciated!
  7. Folks, I'm new here and I suspect that I'm re-hashing a bit, but Torres is _u_s_e_l_e_s_s_. All you need to do is look at the EPL goal ranks to make a list of players who'd be better. All you need to do is watch as Torres, when given a half chance, lays it off instead of trying to create something. Anybody would be better in that position--anybody! When Torres is on the field, we're playing with 10 players and a decoy.
  8. All we need in my opinion is a replacement for Lamps (Essien recall?) and a major striker. Trade Torres for Falcao, and recall Lukaku and we're all set. Cech's got a good 2-3 years I bet, and there's no sense in letting a talent like Courtois rot on the bench--he's just going to get better and better at AM. Oh yeah, and Jose as manager... we need to recall him from his loan spell...
  9. No way to buy them ahead of time? I've got a family in tow so I can't exactly be haggling before the game...
  10. Hello, I have been trying to find some "excellent" tickets for an upcoming game (Sunderland) and I was hoping to get some advice on how to do it. I will be coming from out of the country and visiting during that time. As this is a special occasion for us I don't mind spending a little extra. This will be our first live Chelsea game (I've been a fan for 7 years). I am asking because the tickets on Viagogo.com seem to be quite poor. In particular I was hoping to get front-row seats if possible. Am I dreaming? Again, I don't mind spending what it takes. Any advise would be very helpful. Thank you.
  11. Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I need East Stand Lower. What numbers are close to the middle? I can't find a decent map of SB. Is that whole area the, "family section"? Know anybody who will sell me 3 front-row tix for the Sunderland game? Is there a straight-forward way of getting these on the Internet? Thanks again for your help.
  12. Hello, My am a CFC fan of seven years from afar (co-worker got me hooked) and I will be in London soon, and I want to take my 6 year old to his first game. I've never been to the Bridge, and I need some seating advice. As I said, I'm taking my 6 year old so I'm not looking for a rowdy time (not for another dozen years or so :-)), and it would be great if we could get some seats very close in, close to the dugout, etc. so he can see some of the players up close. Can anybody give me any tips as to the best seats for this? Like I said, I don't mind spending what it takes...
