You can't sign non-EU players under 18 so Chelsea haven't officially had him under contract, making him a free agent in effect. Played a couple of friendlies over the summer and looked very good. He's made number 62 in this list of emerging talent and it was his 18th birthday last month so I expect Chelsea will snap him with a contract pronto, if they haven't already! His elder brother is Alain Traore, who plays in France for Lorient.
