I hate booing, especially when it is not justified. If we play crap and lose 3-0 then maybe a little tut tut, but not booing. Spoilt Fans only there for the glory....... etc. Thats why i prefer away games, stamford bridge needs a clear out (Fans that is). Got to be said its not just stamford bridge with this problem!

It gets on my goat aswell when you hear people talk about buying big name players. In my experience the big names are not always the best option. I have to argue with people about the signing of Steve Sidwell, who they feel is not "big enough" to play for Chelsea. I think it is a very immature and niave view of football. A guy in my local asked me who my favorite player of all time was. i told him that outside chelsea it was paul Gascoigne and at Chelsea it was Nigel Spackman. He obviously knew his football as he agreed and said his was Alan Hudson. Belletti is a proffessional footballer, who has won the biggest trophy of all, the champions league. And to top it all he scored against the Arsenal. For that he is already pushing Nigel Spackman as my fav player of all time

I have been going to chelsea since 1990. I went because it was my local club and all the people where I lived supported Chelsea (with the usual Ars**, Liverpool, Utd mob). it's was cheap for a juvenile (?3 in west benches) and the atmosphere was decent even when we played sh*t (can't say the same now). I know this is about Cup tickets, but i feel the same as many people on here. I have only ever been a member and this year i have decided finally not to renew. Some of the reasons are: Being told to sit down every blo*dy game by stewards and Fans???? Being fleeced for every penny by the club Cr*p atmosphere at the bridge unless 2-0 up and even then? (and i really hate to say it) The icing on the cake was when season ticket holders at both chelsea and utd couldn't get final tickets. The pub I drink in has loads of ex-season tkt holders and members who have been put off over the years. Chelsea and other premier league clubs will have to change there attitude or they will be left with stadiums full of JCL and tourists. I know too many chelsea fans who can't be bothered any more. And it has nothing to do with the 'loyalty' card that the club pulls. The loyalty tends to be all one way if you ask me.
