  1. Not denying it, but you guys have had your share of referring decisions too. When was the last time Luiz was sent off at the Bridge? Every time we play you guys I think he's lucky to make it to half time never mind the full game. The fact is the referees are just crap and that it. If there was any truth to this conspiracy that we always get the decisions then Liverpool wouldn't have got 3 penalties against us at OT.
  2. I really don't understand why you think it will be so hard for us to get back into the top 4. The team we currently have has won 5 of the last 7 PL titles. It's a squad full of winners that was made to look average under an incompetent Moyes. Yes there are areas that need strengthening, primarily the midfield, but which team doesn't? You guys need a strike force as do Arsenal, Liverpool need a better defense etc.
  3. I personally never believed in that moral superiority etc crap. Fact is this is modern football and results matter.
  4. Oh we so are, you have no idea how positive we feel as a club now Moyes has gone. Next year is going to be totally different with nothing but the league to play for. Get in Van Gaal and a few good signings in the summer with our £150m warchest and we'll be right back up in the mix, perhaps not winning the title but we'll be certainly be contending for it.
  5. If you want to talk about referring decisions then let's talk about Drogba's offside goal that won you the title. There's nothing to that conspiracy crap, the referees are just consistently inconsistent.
  6. YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!! We're back baby. God I'm so relieved he's gone, feel sorry for the man because he was trying his darn hardest and he had a lot of guts in following Fergie but the man simply had to go. Champions by 11 points to 7th in the league? Are you F'ing kidding me? That's unheard of...... Pure relief. But now uncertainty as to who we're going to get. Klopp would obviously be amazing but anyone competent would be great. Thinking Van Gaal is most likely to get it and he'd be a good choice to steady the ship. Yes he'll probably be gone in 3 years but who cares as long as we're competitive, stability is overrated, you guys have shown that.
  7. Do we want Europa league football? Don't fancy all that travelling nor those Thursday and Sunday fixtures. Look at how Liverpool have fared whilst only competing in 1 competition and how Tottenham and Swansea have had to deal with fighting on multiple fronts. Fact is if we get Europa league football it'll be harder to get back into the CL, if we don't though our sponsors will be even unhappier because it will affect our brand imagine. Mind you we have a large squad with young players so maybe getting into the Europa league wouldn't be such a bad thing, I think that chance went with the loss to Everton though.
  8. Have you people no mercy at all?
  9. On your previous point in RE to our defense and it being sh*t, we've actually the 4th best defense in the league. Goals against: Chelsea: 26. Manchester City: 34. Everton 34. Manchester United 40. So it's not THAT sh*t. As I said get in a proper manager and proper coaches with a competent midfield sitting before it and that defense will look so much better. As for whether we can still attract top quality players. Under Moyes no chance, get in a proper manager say like Klopp then it's ON. We're still a massive club with a huge war chest and money talks.
  10. Our defense will look 10x better when we actually have a competent midfield in front of it and when we have a LB who can actually run and get back. I read somewhere that our defense has had to deal with way more attacks this season than any other PL side, so if that's true then of course you're going to be more exposed at the back. It'd help if our players actually had some confidence and belief which Moyes has completely sucked out of them.
  11. Debt is only bad if you cannot manage it. Latest reported figures put our debt at £356.6m which is nothing compared to the £800 odd million that it was when the Glazers first took over. Love or loathe them they have a plan and they've been slowly but surely reducing our debt year by year as profits and revenues have skyrocketed.
  12. Sinking ship? Where is our team weak? Defense. We've arguably one of the best goal keepers in the league in De Gea. Smalling, Jones and Evans are all solid CB's (assuming both Rio and Vidic leave) and with the right manager and coaching staff will look ever better than they already do. Yes we could do with a world class experienced CB to help them a long but it's not an urgent priority, even less so if Rio stays on who can just be as good as he used to be if managed right (just like Terry). Rafael is a class RB and was one of our most pivotal players last season, the turn around this season has been shocking and you have to blame Moyes and his amateur coaching staff. Evra looks to be on his way out and Buttner is only good enough to be a squad player so as I said a new LB is a must. Midfield. Fellaini is a flop, Fletcher isn't the player he used to be, Carrick is the wrong side of 30 and Cleverley will never be a United player. Come on, we all know the midfield has been our weakest area for years so as I said 2 class CM's and our entire team looks different. Attacking players. We've an attacking force that boasts the likes of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez, Adnan Januzaj and Danny Welbeck (Don't laugh he's scored 10 goals this season which is 3 more than Torres and Ba who only have 7.) So we're pretty much set here for years to come. So as I said, our weakest areas are the CM (2 players) LB (1) and then maybe CB and possible a wide player but those are less urgent.
  13. The money has always been there only SAF never felt the need to us it; under the Glazers our commercial revenues/sponsorship have skyrocketed (up 44%) meaning we're making a huge ton of money. To give you an idea we turned over £363.2M in 2013 with our ADJUSTED EBITDA of the same year being £108.6M, (expected £400m+ this year) so RE FFP we're doing fine and it only get's better as the brand expands. Seriously, people think this reported £150-200M warchest is a joke, it's not. http://ir.manutd.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=133303&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1855756
  14. Doubt it, if the Glazers have shown us anything it's that they're extremely intelligent businessmen, c**ts yes, but clever c**ts nevertheless. No I don't think it's at all surprising that Moyes is getting sacked the moment that it's mathematically impossible for us to get CL football, there's undoubtedly targets in Moyes's contract which will allow us to terminate it without paying out all that compensation money with finishing in the top 4 being one of them, and that's if he's sacked, there are strong rumors that he's being pressurized into resigning. Even if that isn't the case, we've reportedly a £150m warchest. Deduct £30m for Moyes, another potential £20m in compensation for our new manager and a further £5-10m for their first season in charge, that'd still leave us with at least £90m and we don't need the overhaul people think we do. Get a manager that knows what they're doing i.e. Klopp, along with 2 class CMs and a LB and we're pretty much set. Our players aren't as bad as people think, Moyes and his training methods/formations/tactics have just made them look so much worse.
  15. I think he's done. At least for a long while anyway. There's no way he'll get a job at a top club in the foreseeable future if ever again. I think the best thing for him would be to take a break from football altogether for a year or two, that or going abroad for awhile to get his whole mess behind him.
  16. I wouldn't want Rafa to get the job but I'd take him over Moyes in a heartbeat. At least he's won something.
  17. Who? Moyes fired all of our old coaching staff and Giggs is the only one with any coaching experience who wasn't brought in by Moyes. I suspect Giggs will be a temporary appointment and that we're currently negotiating with Moyes's legal representatives about his contact, whilst also talking to prospect managers.
  18. From what I'm hearing we're after Klopp, hope it's true.
  19. Not saying it's bad just how it is. We all know Fergie was an asshole to everyone else, that's what made him great and why so many hated him. It's part of being a winner which Mourinho is too.
  20. He was either considered and then rejected or he wasn't even considered which is just as bad if not worse. Either way it'd affect his ego.
  21. Mourinho won't go to us after being rejected, he's ego wouldn't allow it.
  22. I personally never gave Chelsea fans crap about that, it obviously worked since in the last 5 years you've won the same amount of trophies as us, only ours have been PL titles and yours have been domestic cups. But I can see why some United fans did give you stick over it; it looks like we're going to be sacking Moyes who took the reigning champions who won the league by 11 points to 7th in the league, while Di Matteo got sacked after winning the CL. The two situations aren't even comparable, in fact Moyes should have been sacked months ago and it would still have been fully deserved and warranted.
  23. I don't know whether it'll be the end of our traditional wing play in the long term but it definitely has to be in the short term, otherwise it'd be a waste in getting Mata. In fact I'm thoroughly fed up of Valencia and if I didn't see us ping out a wide ball to him ever again then I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. As for Fellaini I regard him as a waste of £27.4m as we could have gotten far better players for far less money. I still don't understand the reasoning behind playing him as a defensive midfielder when he was more of an attacking forward at Everton and we already have Rooney to do that. If we were to adopt a 4-2-3-1 approach with Januzaj, Rooney and Mata behind RVP, then I could see Fellaini partnering another defensive midfielder and he could be useful if utilized in that way, but only Moyes knows why he bought him and how he's going to use him.
  24. Januzaj can play in any attacking role whether that be left, central or on the right, although he's not as effective in the centre as he is out wide; he seems to do the best on the left as that's his stronger foot, but it's not unusual to see him popping up on the right as he likes to rotate a lot. I actually think we'll play RVP up front when he's fit, and that we'll have Januzaj on the left, Rooney in the middle with Mata on the right, with all three of them interchanging.
  25. As a United fan I can't understand why you guys are letting us of all people get our hands on Mata, but then you've got a top, top manager who knows what he's doing so I can only assume he's looking at the bigger picture. I have to say I've been impressed with how Chelsea fans in general have reacted to the news, especially since Mata has gone about this very professionally and I think it's clear he just wants to play. Hopefully he'll help us get top 4. So anyway after this I hope you guys go on to win the league; not wanting Liverpool or City to win it is obvious but I don't think I could stand Arsenal's fans if they won it. Oh and yeah we'll try beat City and Arsenal for yer
