Anyone have any good info on getting to the game? Anything?

I will be in London next weekend and am planning to make the solo trip to Birmingham for the Villa match. Any advice on tickets/travel to Birmingham? I'd love to be on a Chelsea train, if something like that exists. I want to be surrounded by Blues! I've been a supporter for 20 years and this will be my fourth match in that time, so I'm obviously quite excited. I'm dusting off the '94-'95 jersey for the trip. And I need an away supporters ticket. It looks like I'll have to spend 120 quid. Thanks for any advice!

I am a 20-year Chelsea fan (saw my first game at the Bridge in September of 1994 v Blackburn) who will be in London for business the week before the Villa away game. A season-ticket holder friend was unable to get me a single in the Chelsea section and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best way to secure a single ticket. Any tips on the best way to enjoy traveling to and from would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Hello -- I'm a Chelsea supporting Yank for 21 years this upcoming summer. First game was Chelsea v Blackburn, sitting in the shed end in the summer or 1994. Second game was '97 FA Cup Final. Third game was Chelsea v PSG last year for for the Demba Ba winner. So yes, 3 years between the first and second games, 17 years between the second and third. I have a 9-year old son who has a lifesize Fathead of Hazard in his room and who is dying to make it to Stamford Bridge for a game. Thanks!
