Hello -- I'm a Chelsea supporting Yank for 21 years this upcoming summer.  First game was Chelsea v Blackburn, sitting in the shed end in the summer or 1994.  Second game was '97 FA Cup Final.  Third game was Chelsea v PSG last year for for the Demba Ba winner.  So yes, 3 years between the first and second games, 17 years between the second and third.

 

I have a 9-year old son who has a lifesize Fathead of Hazard in his room and who is dying to make it to Stamford Bridge for a game.

Welcome Fred, used to live in NY for a while in 2002, would come in to the city and hit a few of the Irish pubs up around the upper east side and have a good laugh.  I know that there's now a CFC pub that I wish I'd have known about.  Will maybe make it over another time for a game.

I think there are a couple of Chelsea bars in NYC, but I've heard that Legends Bar on West 33rd is one...sure there's another

I'm in the NYC quite often. I will try to visit that Legends Bar one day.

Legend's bar is more of a general football bar than a Chelsea pub. Several different supporters groups meet there, Arsenal, Newcastle, etc. Nice place though, I'd definitely recommend going.
