Love the game even though it's got pretty soft over the years due to rules changes. I follow the mighty Sydney Swans! I was absolutely shattered after last year's Grand Final defeat but I'm holding high hopes for the new season ahead. Less than 3 weeks to go!

Thanks, Jezz :) It's difficult to get to the pub with Russ and the gang but it's always very enjoyable when I get the opporunity to do so. Great bunch of people! Hopefully more support from Melbourne will come on this forum in future but at least there's a few of us already to wave the flag. Might see you down at the pub sometime. Cheers

I've heard nothing but great things from people who have been before so I'm expecting it to be amazing. Roughly 10 days. Land on April 6th and then jet off to Ireland and Scotland for a few weeks.

Never visited before so I'm pretty excited to see the place for the first time :)

Managing a squad that's involved in a hand full of competitions/leagues is difficult to do as you can see now with the current lapse in form (tiredness as mentioned). I feel Jose could've rotated the squad a bit more over the course of the season but he's the man being paid the big bucks so you can only trust him to do what's best for the club. Players like Zouma, Salah and Remy should've been granted more playing time. I know Zouma's minutes have been up as of late but I can't understand why Salah wasn't given more of an opportunity, even if it was only 10-15 minutes off the bench. Remy may be given more time next season IF Drogba decides to call it day. Overall, we're top of the table with a game in hand and in a great position with the current CL tie. Can't be complaning too much now #carefree

I don't think there would be a major issue with the opposing sporting codes IF Australia did happen to land the WC. From memory the AFL and NRL were all for the bid as there was a clear understanding what it would mean for the nation including the growth of the game if a WC was hosted. Blatter knows it's a big mistake holding a WC in Qatar due to a number of reasons pointed out already but I think Australia is an ideal candidate in future. Stadiums are not an issue and certainly not the weather The game has devolped like crazy in the last 3-4 years.

Hi Gang, Great to be apart of the forum! I've been a Chelsea fan for about 5 years now. I watch almost every game which requires me to either get up a ridiclous hour of the night (3am,4am) to watch the lads play or record the game and avoid finiding out the score (sometimes hard when your mates are sh*t) but it's always worth it, even though the mrs can give me grief about it ! I started following the club after randoming selecting Chelsea as my team in FIFA on PS3 years ago. I had no idea about the club (histoy, players, good/bad) but decided to start following the Premier League and Chelsea as my team. Since then I have grown a passion for not only the club, but the game itself. I'm apart of the Chelsea supporters group in Melbourne so it's nice to be able to talk to locals about Chelsea and also attend games at the pub with most of the members in full voice. It's been a dream of mine to see the lads play in the flesh and I'll hopefully get that opportunity next month when I'm in London for a few weeks but I'm finding it difficult to get my hands on tickets unfornately, fingers crossed something comes up. Any advice or info you can give me while I'm over in London would be greatly appreciated. I might even see a few of you at the pub before a game ;) Nick

Loving this series! I was always a big fan of Saul in Breaking Bad as a character so I had no doubt this would be great. Saul's brother is a bit of a weirdo but I like where the story is going with it. It won't be as good as Breaking Bad (don't think anything will be) but still hooked enough to watch every episode once it's drops !
